In order to provide various facilities and schemes to benefit traveling public, APSRTC has introduced computerized reservation system way back in 1989. The computerized Advance-cum-Current Ticket Issuing System (ACTIS) is now implemented at 43 Bus Stations including inter-state Bus Stations viz. Bangalore, Chennai and Mumbai. |

Booking facility through web interface is being provided at various Reservation Centers that facilitates ticket issue on 'Any time, any where basis'. In order to make the reservation activity more user friendly and also to give better and value added service to the passengers, the Corporation is going ahead with an idea of providing 'any where to anytime ticketing' among the 43 computerized Bus Stations. |

Corporate Office Networking: A well established LAN is provided in the Corporate Office located in RTC X roads, Hyderabad and is protected with Anti Virus. A paperless office is the aim of networking. Similarly, this office is connected with MGBS and JBS, the two major Bus Stations in the twin cities, Bus Body Building Workshop at Miyapur and Hospital at Tarnaka in Hyderabad through a fibre cable, besides being connected to all the Zonal and Regional offices and Depots through APSWAN network. |

| Attendance Monitoring System |
Electronic Attendance Monitoring System is introduced in APSRTC with an aim to Automate Muster Rolls of the employees. Initially e-AMS is introduced in Corporate Office on 3rd April 2003. In this system each employee is provided with a Contact less Smart Card , which must be flashed before the Reader, so that the Attendance of the employee will be updated automatically in the system with the time and the date. As part of the first phase, four Con tactless Smart Card Readers are installed at Head Office and they have been running smoothly since 15.4.2003.

| Ticket Issuing Machines (TIMs) |

Ticket Issuing Machines (TIM's) were introduced in APSRTC in May 2000. The main aim of introducing TIMs is to issue tickets even after completion of ground booking and to pick up more no. of passengers en-route. Also with a view that the Management can derive information on various fronts like punctuality analysis, travel patterns of the public, economic viability of service, saving of stationery and generate MIS reports from the database. Similarly the crew will be benefited by issuing a single ticket to a group of passengers, avoiding of ticket punching and S.R. closing, instantaneous remittance of reports. |
Pass Automation & Accountal System (PAAS) Project: |
This Project is developed in three tier architecture using Oracle as back end database and Dotnet as front end. 33 types of passes are issued through 53 centers in Hyderabad City Region. Bus passes are issued from 9.00 A.M. to 3.00 P.M. on Sundays and Holidays. Citizens can take pass at any center in Hyderabad and can renew at any center. |

All the 6 Zonal Staff Training Colleges and the Training Academy are provided with full fledged computer systems for imparting training to System supervisors on application software and system administration of operating systems. |
Regional/ Zonal core group supervisors are trained on latest developments and software maintenance. |
 Assistant Depot clerks of the depots are trained on the day to day activities to be carried out on the application software and operating system. |
 For advanced courses, all the categories who are using computers are trained at reputed Training Institutes. |
